M247 would like to inform you about one maintenance work in London, in the following time slot:

The works consist in upgrading the firmware of the backbone router, part of the global network upgrade plan.
You can encounter traffic re-routes and temporary packet loss while the works are performed.
Not only the services in UK will be affected, but the services outside of UK will feel a lower impact as the traffic can in most cases be re-routed via other paths.
We do not expect the downtime to be as long as the entire maintenance window.

We are currently experiencing problems after the firmware upgrade of the router.
The vendor has been involved and our engineers have joined a meeting with them in order to find the root cause.

All services should work fine but you could encounter also some aleatory packet loss untill we'll solve definitively the issue.
