Dear Customer,
Please be advised that planned maintenance in regards to IP Cortex Platform change will happen on the 8th Feb 2021
Affected product: IP Cortex Phone system.
The maintenance itself has a 6 hour window and is part of works to: Increase the resilience and scalability of the platform, by moving all Virtual machines from the legacy platform (UCS) towards the new platform (Cloud.m247.com)
If you are receiving this notification it is because the phone system provided by M247 is due for this migration window.
Risk: Medium - As this is a platform migration, we have backups on both platforms and system images of the Virtual Machines, but during the migration itself we expect some downtime whilst the IP addresses re-advertise on the new platform. The majority of the time will be backups and post checks so the amount of work is closer to 2 hours disruption.
Rollback Plan: If any issues are seen during the test plan, the subnet will be switched back and advertised on the legacy platform where the virtual machine will continue to run in the backround.
