Generator Maintenance - Maintenance completed

Start: Mon, Jan 25th 2021, 08:30
End: Mon, Jan 25th 2021, 17:30

Please note that on Wednesday 20th Jan M247 conducted our Quarterly On Load generator PPM test and as part of that test it presented a few anomalies on one of our Generator units, of which we have 3 in total supporting our IT Load across the Ball Green Estate.

Due to this issue we have asked our 3rd party Generator Maintenance supplier to further investigate this issue as a priority, that subsequent investigative work is now booked in & will take place on Monday 25th January from 09:00Hrs.

The Generator Maintenance supplier has requested that in order to fully test the system so as to replicate the failure we saw/experienced on the evening of Wednesday 21st Jan we will need to simulate an Onload Generator test scenario. This will be conducted in the same as any other previous Generator onload test. During this investigative works there may be times when our resiliency is reduced slightly, however please be rest assured that the 2 (two) other Generators on site can fully support all IT Loads at the Ball Green DC.

We will keep all parties updated on progress made / issues found / items rectified next Monday as they unfold.

Our Critical Infrastructure Engineering Team will be working alongside the 3rd party Generator Maintenance Company next Monday and in parallel we will be monitoring our power systems at all times whilst this work is being carried out.

Your understanding whilst these works are undertaken will be appreciated.
