Broadworks Hosted Telephony Firmware upgrade - Yealink Devices

Dear Customer,

Please be advised that planned maintenance on the Broadworks Hosted Telephony product will take place on the below device types:

30th May– 22:00 to 02:00 31st May – All Yealink device types.

The purpose of these planned works is to upgrade the firmware of the devices we hold on the network to maintain upto date security and compatibility across the estate.

Services Affected: All Handsets are deemed at risk during these times.

Customer impact: On the nights of the 28th to the 31st May, there will be a service interruption when we apply a group TAG and send a reboot command to the devices below to update them to the latest firmware.

Please note that any custom button configuration done from the device may be lost during this upgrade, so we would highly recommend that any line keys be configured via the platform portal to reduce the risk that they are lost.

Depending on the number of the devices on a customers site as well as the speed of the access, the downtime can vary.

If, for any reason the devices do not come back up we request that users power cycle the device in the first instance and contact the VOIP team on 01618222580 option 2, option 2 or VOIP-Ticket@M24Seven.com for support.
