Following the recent pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the latest government announcement, M247 has initiated further contingency and business continuity for all its data centres.

From today and effective until further notice:

Please do not visit the data centre unless it is absolutely business critical. This is restricted to outages and business continuity purposes only. Please use M247 remote hands as a first option.

Please do not visit the data centre if:

- You have the following flu like symptoms: a high temperature - you feel hot to touch on your chest or back or have a continuous cough - this means you have started coughing repeatedly.
- If you or anyone you have been in contact with has travelled to an area in the Red or Yellow zones or an area of high COVID-19 contamination, please do not visit the data centre for 14 days.
- If you have come into direct contact with a person who has tested positive with Coronavirus, please do not visit the data centre for 14 days.

Each access request will follow strict guidelines to minimise risk and encourage social distancing. We may ask you to self-check your temperature.

Permitted visitors to our data centres are requested to operate with a higher level of personal hygiene, these include and are not limited to:

- Regular hand washing for 20 seconds (mandatory at data centre entrance and exit).
- Sneezing into a single use tissue and disposing of it safely.
- Maintaining a minimum of 2m distance from other people.

M247 is committed to maintain operations throughout this situation, including controls for ensuring all data centres remain fully operational. The welfare of our colleagues and customers as well as our service continuity is our highest priority. M247 has aligned with the advice of government and public health authorities to ensure the latest controls are applicable.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this constantly evolving situation. We are committed to the safety of our colleagues, customers and partners and will continue to update if we make any more significant changes.
