Issue with "PE" located in Manchester / Intermittent reachability to certain destinations - Issue resolved
Dear Customer,
Our Network Infrastructure Team has identified an issue with one of our 'PE' devices located in one of our data centres in Manchester that serves traffic from all parts of the UK.
Some traffic IPV4 transversing through the device is intermittently not routed as it should and is instead being dropped. The symptoms are not being able to reach certain destinations randomly as an example we have had reports of customers being unable to reach some Microsoft Office 365 services.
M247 Network Engineers are currently investigating and looking at implementing a resolution shortly with a view to conducting an emergency maintenance slot.
If you have any queries regarding the former please contact our support team on 0161 822 2580. Further updates will be posted here.
Thanks,
M247 Network Infrastructure
Maintenance works are now complete and all services restored please contact our support department if you encounter any further issues.
Regards,
M247 Network Infrastructure
To rectify an issue some customers may have experienced today with traffic to a limited number of destinations seeing performance issues, it is necessary that we undergo some emergency maintenance on Thursday 28th February between 2 am and 4 am. Some customers may see a brief drop in service to connectivity during this maintenance window.

M247 Support
As much traffic has been moved away from the problematic device as possible.
Customers directly connected to the device may still be experiencing problems and will receive an emergency maintenance notification shortly.
